Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited wins Rs 78.09 crore contract from WBSEDCL for a pumped storage project

Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd. currently trades at Rs 169.98, unchanged from today's previous close, after showing a flat trend over the last week. Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited (BSE: 535693) has been declared the L-1 (Lowest Bidder) for a Rs. 78.09 Crores contract to construct the project road, ancillary structures, and the Main Access Tunnel (MAT) including the Power House Adit for the 4 x 250 MW Turga Pumped Storage Project in West Bengal. This project marks the company’s entry into the pumped storage hydro-power segment and its first engagement with the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), expanding its geographic presence beyond the North Eastern region. The contract, awarded by the Pumped Storage Project Department (PSPD) of WBSEDCL, has an execution period of 18 months from the date of the Letter of Intent/Letter of Award, which is currently pending. Trading volume reached 24235 shares today, unchanged from the average volume of the last one week. Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd remained flat year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 3.61% loss.
