Anantam Highways Trust’s revenue fell to INR 158 crore amid accounting changes

Anantam Highways Trust reported a decrease in revenue from INR 225 crore to INR 158 crore, primarily due to a change in revenue recognition policy under Ind AS accounting standards, prompting the company to emphasize cash flow metrics such as a June Net Debt Service Coverage Ratio of INR 284 crore, an 8% increase from March. The trust plans a preferential allotment to increase the sponsor group’s stake closer to 50%, while Dilip Buildcon’s shareholding will be slightly reduced. Anantam maintains a debt cost of approximately 7.46%, generating a 2.2% spread and a net interest margin of around 4%, and is focused on disciplined, accretive acquisitions while maintaining a AAA stable credit profile and prioritizing long-term value creation for unit holders.
