Shipping Corporation of India secures three-month extension for Rear Admiral Jaswinder Singh

The Shipping Corporation of India Limited informed the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a three-month extension for Rear Admiral Jaswinder Singh to continue as Director (Technical & Offshore Services), effective September 1, 2026, or until a regular incumbent is appointed. Rear Admiral Jaswinder Singh currently holds the position of Director (Liner & Passenger Services) and has held the additional charge of Director (Technical & Offshore Services) since June 1, 2026, previously serving as Director of Bulk and Tanker businesses from 2025 to 2026 and on the boards of SCI Bharat IFSC Ltd. and Inland and Coastal Shipping Ltd.
